Arsenal eyeing two potential Aaron Ramsey replacements

Ramsey set for Juventus

Aaron Ramsey joined Arsenal in 2008 from Cardiff City.

Since then, Ramsey has gone on to make 366 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners.

In those 366 games, Ramsey has scored 63 and assisted 35.

The Welshman is also having a solid 2018/19 season, playing 35 games, scoring four and assisting eight.

However, after failing to come to terms over a new deal with Arsenal, Ramsey will join Serie A outfit Juventus on a free this summer once his current contract expires.

Ramsey is also currently injured and has returned from international duty with Wales to receive treatment in North London.

Arsenal eyeing Serie A duo

With Ramsey set to leave a big hole in the Arsenal squad, the Mirror are reporting that Unai Emery’s side have identified two potential replacements.

The Mirror, citing Calciomercato, claim one of those names is AC Milan midfielder, Franck Kessie.

Kessie has played 87 games for Milan, scoring eight and assisting nine. However, he is said to be currently unhappy at the club.

The second midfielder Arsenal are said to be monitoring is Nicolo Barella.

22-year-old Barella has made over 100 appearances for Cagliari and is also reportedly on Chelsea’s radar.
